The problem of overpopulation, resulting in too many unwanted pets, may have you considering adopting a dog in need.  Many members of LCKC can tell you first hand, that this is a wonderfully rewarding experience.  Below, are listings of local organizations who are always looking for good  owners for their pets in need of homes.  Please check with them for your next family member. 

If you have your heart set on a purebred dog, click on the link below.  Expect these organizations to be very thorough in their screening process.  They are looking for forever homes for these deserving dogs who didn't get one in their first go 'round.
