Lake Cumberland Kennel Club
The Lake Cumberland Kennel Club serves Pulaski and surrounding counties in south central Kentucky.
LCKC is a volunteer driven club dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership. This is accomplished through AKC sanctioned activities as well as activities and events geared towards all canine companions.
LCKC's mission is to protect and advance the interests of the purebred dog. LCKC's devotion is to the betterment of all dogs!
Love on a Leash (LOAL) is a non-profit organization with the mission of spreading joy to the community via certified therapy pets. Pets and handlers help educate the community and visit those in need. LOAL is not part of LCKC but is closely affiliated with the LCKC.
LCKC abides by the guidelines of the American Kennel Club. Our goal is to conduct training classes, Canine Good Citizen testing, sportsmanlike competition, dog show field trips, promote Responsible Dog Ownership (RDOD), as well as other public educational and outreach programs.
The LCKC meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Rescue Squad building off Thurman Road near West Hwy 80. The address is 50 Kennedy Way. Come out and join the fun and perhaps become a member! Announcements are published in the local paper the Sunday before the scheduled meeting.
